Task 2 - Simple Formulae |

All formulae start
with an equals sign, = , this lets the spreadsheet know that what follows
is a calculation. Then just type or click on the cell addresses you
want to use in your calculation.

In MS Excel one
workbook is made up of a lot of worksheets. In each task in this unit
use a different sheet for each task but keep all work in a single workbook.
- Enter
the following information on a new worksheet.

In task 2 you added (+) cell contents. You may also subtract (-), multiply
(*) and divide (/) numbers.
In your Jotter,
Express the following as spreadsheet formulae:
1. Cells A2,
A3, and A4 are multiplied together.
2. Cell B9 is
subtracted from cell B10.
3. The values
in cell C5 and D5 are added together then divided by 2.
4. Cell D5 is
divided by cell D2.
5. The average
of cells B5, B6 and B7 is calculated.
