You are going to learn about word processing. The features you will learn about are:

• Opening and saving files
• Changing font and sizes
• Cutting and pasting
• Text alignment ( left align (like this text), centre align, right align and fully justified.)
• Adding graphics
• Using word art
• Spell checking
• Adding tables
• Bullets points (like this list uses) and numbering

You will edit a ready made letter for a company who is trying to sell a product.You will decide the company name and product and some prices.


Before you start, it is important to check that you fully understand the use of the keys on the keyboard.

To do this, you will use an on-line tutorial. Answer the questions here using the tutorial.

This exercise allows you to click on a keyboard diagram to test your knowledge of the keys.

Start on the bottom row and work up.
