Task 9 - adding a graphic |

You will see that there is a graphic, that is the company logo, at
the top of the page.
To start off, you will need a logo. you can either use clip art or
you can save an image from the internet.
There are various instructions below. Choose which
ever suits you. Either use an internet picture or a Clip art image
Getting an image from the Internet
- find a web page with a suitable image
- right click on the image
- choose Save picture as
- this will then bring up a save as dialog box
- save the image to your my documents folder.

Adding a saved image
- Click on the insert tab to show the following
options
- Choose the picture option and choose From
file..
you can then choose your saved image from your my documents
folder |
Adding a clip art image
- Put your cursor where the Logo should go
- click a suitable alignment button to put the cursor to the
desired alignment (e.g. centre or left or right)
A pane will appear at the side of the window.
- Type a word into the "search for"
box that describes you image (e.g. shoe, dog, toy etc)
- click go
- click on an image that you want, that image will appear on
your screen
- resize and reposition as required by clicking and dragging
