Module 1.3 - hyperlink buttons

You will now create buttons for each answer in your quiz question

Once completed, your page will look like what is shown below:

 

 

How to add the hyperlink buttons

Your button can be made of one of two things

  • clip art
  • auto shapes

To get an auto shape

click on the shapes button found in the home tag.

As you can see, there are a variety of shapes that can be used.

choose a shape that suits you or alternatively, inset a clip-art instead.

Insert enough shapes or clip art on one page to start with.

 

Hyper linking

You now need to hyperlink the shapes, so that when you click on the button, your button will take you to another part of the presentation.

  • Click once on a button with the correct answer.

 

  • right click on the button

 

  • choose Hyperlink

This will then bring up the hyperlink dialog box

 

 

  • Now click on place in this document

 

 

 

 

 

  • You will now see the following options.

  • choose the slide you wish the button to link to

 

  • Create the appropriate links from each button to each page.

 

  • Remember that the correct answer page has to have a link to the next question in the quiz.

 

  • The wrong answer slide should link to the end of the show or back to the start.
