A robot is a machine that is controlled by computer and should be able to do more than one thing by changing it's instructions.

 

Our image of robots is often the image as given in science fiction movies.

This is an unrealistic view of robots as it is not easy to make robots intelligent, free thinking and manoeuvrable as they are in movies. Below, there are images and clips that show a realistic vision of robotics today.
