Reinforcement of observational drawing and recording skills. Further exploration of the visual elements combining different media with an element of individual choice. Using collage as an addition to drawn surfaces

Module 2.2 - Painting

Extension of colour mixing including complementary and tertiary colours. Explore using the expression of emotions, moods and atmosphere in painting.

Module 2.3 - Critical 3

Looking at the work of the Post-Impressionists.

Module 2.4 - Design

Develop a 2-d or 3-d solution to a set Design Brief following the format of investigation, consideration of possibilities and a final outcome.

Module 2.5 - Textile Crafts/ Printmaking/ 3-d Construction/ Clay work/ Computer aided design

Create an individual, well thought out final piece of art work using one or more of the above techniques not used in First Year.

Looking at 20th Century Art
