We Recommend...

'We Recommend' has been written and edited for you by a dedicated group of amateur scribes from first and second year at St Aloysius' College.

It contains a varied selection of work from first and second year pupils at the school, and has been compiled with the simple hope that by providing pupils like yourself with some splendid examples of good essay writing, we will inspire you to develop your own skills in the the specialised area of writing reviews of personal reading.

The purpose of this book is therefore not to help you to cheat or bluff your way through the study of English Literature, but instead to awaken your own interest in reading as this will aid you when you come to prepare for your own personal studies, recommendations and reviews.
