Answer as fully as you can. Prepare your answers but remember – you will not be allowed to read from or look at any notes during the test.

You will be marked out of 20 for your overall performance.
Here is the marking scheme your teacher will use. It gives you an idea of the kind of things to think about in your preparation:

20 Very good

Good pronunciation. Speaks without hesitation. Accurate with things like le/la, un/une, mon/ma/mes.
Uses a wide range of vocabulary. Goes well beyond minimum answers. Answers in sentences. Immediately understands questions and is always comprehensible.

 
16 Good As above but with a few minor errors OR less accurate pronunciation of a few individual words OR accurate but not answering quite as fully. Overall, a sound performance.
12 Satisfactory

Communicates clearly but with quite frequent error OR answers are short but more accurate OR pronunciation is inconsistent. Good outweighs bad.

 
8 Unsatisfactory

Does not always manage to communicate clearly. Possible English interference. Possibility of frequent error and/or minimal reponses and/or poor pronunciation. Bad outweighs good.

 
4 Poor Does not communicate. Possibility of English interference, frequent error, minimal reponses and/or poor pronunciation.
