comets, meteors; stars and galaxies; the structure of the universe;
the speed of light, the light year, interstellar and intergalactic
distances; the earth in space, day and night, the seasons, phases
of the moon.

– Light
Reflection at a plane mirror and at concave and convex mirrors; the
law of reflection; application of reflection; refraction of light,
concave and convex lenses, focal length of a lens; applications of
lenses; colour, the dispersion of white light in a prism; colour mixing,
absorption and reflection of light.

– Relativity
Einstein’s law of Special Relativity; the speed of light; effect
of travel at speeds close to the speed of light on time, length and
mass.

Current and voltage in series and parallel circuits; resistance, factors

Electronics
Electronic systems, input devices, output devices, analogue and digital,
logic gates (NOT, AND, OR), truth tables, using logic gates, combinations
of gates (control circuits).
