Eagle Eye is published three times a year by the College Foundation and Community Office. The Aloysian Association was reconstituted in 1990 to include, not only former pupils but all current parents and members of staff. When the College Foundation & Community Office was set up in 1999 it included an Alumni Director who was responsible for maintaining a former pupil database and for the organization of reunions and other means of contact. It was agreed that the Alumni Director would also be an ex officio member of the Aloysian Association committee.
The purpose of the Aloysian Association as defined in the constitution is to support the Society of Jesus in all their works and especially in their work in the West of Scotland.

The Aloysian Association organizes a number of social events through which members are given the opportunity to meet each other and to be informed of the current needs and activities. The highlight of the year is the Annual Summer Ball, a fund raising event through which some £20,000 is realized each year. This money is used to support a number of charitable causes including guaranteed support for two mission stations in Africa and one in India, as well as donations to local and national charitable causes. Funds have also been allocated to the needs of the College, including building development and bursary funding.
The Aloysian Association is a member of the British Jesuit Alumni group and as such participates in the work of the European Federation of Jesuit Alumni and of the World Union of Jesuit Alumni . The President of the Association, Mr. John McCabe, is also President of the BJA and a trustee of its charitable arm Eagle Aid.

Reunions

There have been two successful Reunions since September involving OAs from 1977 and 1982 and Laura Murphy (1986-93) is planning a Reunion for her contemporaries sometime in March. If you left the College from 5th Year in 1992 or 6th Year in 1993 and are interested in attending this Reunion pleaes contact Laura at: laura.mackay@stv,tv.
