To comply with the new regulations under The Education (Scotland) Act 2016, all teachers who commence employment at any Scottish Independent School on or after 1 October 2017 must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland(GTCS), either Provisional, Provisional (Conditional) or Full.
