EDUCATION MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE

Pupils over 16 who have completed S4 and live within the Glasgow City boundary, may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance, provided household income does not exceed £30,000. Payments range from £10 to £30 per week depending on income.

Payment also depends on attendance, time-keeping and application to studies being exemplary. The school is required to report to the City Council.

Application forms are available from the General School Office or directly from the Council.
