The local sweet shop (Latif's) is out of bounds to pupils in the Junior School and S1 and S2 before and during the school day.
Pupils are not permitted eat or drink while walking in the streets.
Food and drink are to be consumed only in the refectory, or outside but within the school boundaries.
Pupils are not permitted to carry food and drink about in their pockets during the school day.
Chewing gum and bubble gum are absolutely forbidden. Pupils are not to bring gum into school at all.
Pupils are not to have glass bottles.
The Junior School endeavours to encourage sensible eating, there is always a wide choice of good food in the refectory. It is hoped that parents will support this by providing healthy snacks and packed lunches. The refectory (for P1-P7) is supervised during lunchtime. Kindergarten and P1 bring packed lunches and the class teacher (P1) or key worker (KG) will inform parents if lunch has not been eaten.
