The BOARD of GOVERNORS


The College is owned and operated under the trusteeship of the British Jesuits. It is a Jesuit apostolate, conducted in partnership with the many lay staff and families who share the vision and ways of Jesuit education.

The Governors are appointed by the Jesuit trustees to govern the College as an apostolate of the Society of Jesus in its service of the Church in Scotland.

The Governing body usually meets four times a year.

Correspondence should be addressed to the Clerk to the Board of Governors, c/o St Aloysius' College, 45 Hill Street, Glasgow G3 6RJ.

Parents who wish to write to the Governors are asked not to write to every governor but to the Clerk who will pass the letter to the Chair.

An independent trust, the St Aloysius' Charitable Fund, was established by the Jesuits in 1984 to provide bursaries for children who otherwise would not be able to attend the College.
