uniform
1 The College blazer
must be the official myrtle-green colour with the eagle sewn directly onto the
pocket, available only from the official suppliers.
2 From August 2004, the shirt colour in the Junior School will change from grey to white.
3 Boys' shorts are to be mid-grey formal school shorts and are to finish well above the knee with no turn-ups.
4 Socks are to be the official grey school socks with College colours around the top. Girls may choose to wear green socks or green tights instead. Junior School girls may not wear black tights.
5 The grey v-neck jumper is optional and may or may not have the school colours around the neck.
6 Shoes are to be plain, black and formal, without high heels or platforms; patent leather shoes are not permitted; heels are to be no more than 2cm high (at the instep); boots are not permitted except in deep snow.
7 Outdoor coats are to be plain (no logos), in school colours (dark green, grey, or black), and suitable for school wear.
8 If pupils wish to wear a scarf, it must be the official College scarf or a plain black or grey scarf. Scarves may not be worn indoors.
9 Other items of clothing (such as hats and gloves in winter) should be in the school colours - green, grey or black. Girls' scrunchies and Alice bands in school colours are available from the School Shop.
10 All pupils who play rugby or hockey are to have a gumshield.
11 Girls may choose to wear either green gym pants or College gym shorts for PE.
12 All pupils must have the Junior School PE bag and P5-7 and Prep pupils must have the official College games bag also.
13 All P4-7 and Prep pupils are to have the Junior School tracksuit (sweatshirt and joggers).
14 Summer uniform is optional and may be worn on warm days between May 1st and the September weekend holiday. Pupils should not wear summer uniform on cold days when jumpers or other clothing is needed. It is acceptable to wear a blazer to school with summer uniform on cooler mornings.
