notes for parents on Kindergarten uniform

1 A tie is not worn with the Kindergarten uniform.

2 Boys' shorts are to be mid-grey formal school shorts and are to finish well above the knee with no turn-ups.

3 Socks are to be the official grey school socks with College colours around the top. Girls may choose to wear green socks or tights instead.

4 The green joggers are not part of the uniform and are not to be worn to or from school. They are used for some physical activities in school.

5 Shoes are to be plain, black and formal, without high heels or platforms; patent leather shoes are not permitted; heels are to be no more than 2cm high (at the instep); boots are not permitted except in deep snow. Shoes for Kindergarten pupils should be fastenable in an easy way by the child (such as by velcro straps).

6 Outdoor coats are to be plain (no logos), in school colours (dark green, grey, or black), and suitable for school wear.

7 Other items of clothing (such as hats and gloves in winter) should be in the school colours - green, grey or black. Girls' scrunchies and Alice bands in school colours are available from the School Shop.
