The patron of the Junior School is the Scottish Jesuit martyr St John Ogilvie SJ. In the Junior School the boys and girls are prepared for the Sacraments: Reconciliation in P3, Confirmation early in P4 and First Communion at the end of that year. Parents are very closely involved in the preparation for these sacraments.
Mass is celebrated once a month for the whole Junior School in St Aloysius’ Church, and once each term for individual classes in the College Chapel. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available twice a week.
The Infants have regular services tailored to the needs of their age group. Helping the children grow into fully mature Christians is our principal aim. The Junior School has its own full time Jesuit Chaplain, Father Peter Granger - Banyard SJ.http://www.staloysius.org/latestnews/vacancies.asp |
