From its beginnings in the 16th century Jesuit education has placed great emphasis on the care of the individual person (cura personalis). The College takes pride in its pastoral care. It seeks to develop a partnership in which pupils, parents and teachers work together to provide a secure and supportive environment in which each child can flourish. Every pupil has a Tutor who, with a Head of Year and a Head of School, is responsible for his or her welfare.
