The College’s Outdoor Education Department provides a unique and progressive programme for pupils, maximising on the close proximity of one of Scotland’s National Parks, with trips to remoter areas of the Highlands and ventures overseas. Pupils participate in challenging activities that develop character, interpersonal skills, perseverance, initiative and drive. Many take up the challenge of the Duke of Edinburgh Award (Silver and Gold) and are involved in the College’s Mountaineering, Kayaking and Sailing clubs that run regular training sessions and trips throughout the year.
Outdoor education is organised by a qualified, full time member of staff. |
