S6 Leadership Course

Students and staff returned from the S6 leadership course enthused and inspired after spending three action packed days in Brathay Hall- a fantastic location situated on the banks of Lake Windermere.
The aim of the course was to develop S6 student’s leadership skills by teaching them the importance of listening to others and working together as a team. A treasure hunt on Lake Windermere, a tree top assault course, an orienteering exercise, the ‘Brathay Olympics’ and a rocket building competition were, but a few, of the activities which encouraged pupils to work together to achieve their goals.
Christopher Kirwan (X6) said of the course “The experience at Brathay Hall was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded all my expectations”.
