A Clean Sweep for Gonzaga!
On a sunny Glasgow Green on Saturday morning, S1, S2 and S3 showed us their hockey skills at the annual Interhouse Hockey Tournament.
After a series of closely contested matches, and a display of fine team spirit, Gonzaga emerged victorious across all three competitions.
In the S1 category, 2nd place was won by Loyola, followed by Ogilvie and Xavier respectively. In the S2 category, Xavier came 2nd, Ogilvie 3rd and Loyola 4th. Finally, in the S3 tournament, Ogilvie secured 2nd place, Loyola 3rd and Xavier 4th.
Particular well done to Eilidh Boyle, who led her S1 team to victory, Louise Piggot who captained the winning S2 team, and Amelia Lynas, who led the S3 squad.
Congratulations to all the girls who took part over the weekend and to all the Senior Hockey girls who were there to coach and help organise the competition. Well done to you all!
