Memories are Made at the S4 Christmas Social

This year’s S4 Christmas Social was held at Celtic Park in the Kerrydale Suite. The majority of the S4 Year group was in attendance, alongside Mrs Piggot (Head of S4); Mr Meechan (AHoY S4); S4 form teachers, as well as Mr Bartlett and Dr Kilgour.

The night started with pupils getting the chance to get their picture taken with Hoopy, Celtic’s mascot, as well as with the SPL League Trophy There were then some party games, including groups working together to create a set of reindeer antlers out of a pair of tights and some balloons. Archie Innes 4N won this competition with a particularly ridiculous looking pair of antlers! Another game involved using toilet paper and props to turn one team member into a giant snowman. The staff won this, with a very convincing snowman portrayed by Mr Kyle!

There was then some dancing, led by Mr Bartlett who was eager to show off his dance moves!

Everyone enjoyed a lovely buffet, which was followed by a special appearance by Santa and his helpers (including Mrs Piggot as an elf, and Mr Meechan as a grumpy-looking penguin). Everyone received a gift from Santa – although they had to dance under a limbo pole first. Alas, some people – particularly members of staff – fell over while trying to do this!

It was a brilliant night, and one filled with lots of great memories. Thanks to the S4 pupils who attended and made this such a memorable night, as well as to staff for taking the time to help out.
