Old Aloysians from Scottish Rugby Board to Address Business Network

The next St Aloysius’ College Business Network Event will take place at the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians on Monday 29 February and the College is excited to announce that the guest speakers will be OAs Edward Crozier and Dominic McKay, the President and the Chief Operating Officer of Scottish Rugby Union.

The St Aloysius’ College Business Network is open to current and former parents and OA’s who work, or have a particular interest in, the corporate sector.

The next event on Monday 29 February will open with an informal networking opportunity over tea and coffee before OAs, Edward Crozier, President of Scottish Rugby Union, and Dominic McKay, Chief Operating Officer of Scottish Rugby Union, address the room as guest speakers.  

Following the talks from Edward and Dominic, the floor will be opened to anyone who would like to deliver a short presentation on their business.

Guest Speaker Bios

Edward Crozier

OA Edward Crozier was elected President of the Scottish Rugby Union in August 2015 following a successful career in financial services and the media, where he was a producer and executive-producer in film, theatre, radio and television.

He is currently a board member of Scottish Opera and the Theatre Royal Limited. He is also Chairman of Dance Base, Scotland's National Centre for Dance, and Chair of the Scottish Rugby Union Council. 

Dominic McKay

OA Dominic McKay joined Scottish Rugby in January 2008 as Director of Communications and Public Affairs following his previous post at drinks giant, Pernod Ricard.

Dominic oversees the off-field activity of Scotland's two professional teams, Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby, and is a Director of both the Pro12 Board and European Rugby’s governing body, Rugby Europe.

He is also a member of the Scottish Rugby Board and was, on his appointment, the youngest ever Board member of the Scottish Rugby Union.
