Preparations for the Summer Arts Event Underway

This year’s Summer Arts event is set to be an exciting one, featuring performances from the College Opera Group, as well as the Schola Cantorum and the Senior Choir. The annual event will be an opportunity to celebrate the talents of all our Senior School pupils before the summer break begins in June. The concert will also be the last chance to see our talented S6 pupils perform, before they head on to pastures new.

The programme will include a varied repertoire from baroque masterpieces to popular librettos. The Opera Group are currently preparing extracts from Handel’s Acis and Galatea, Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, Lehar’s The Merry Widow and Gilbert and Sullivan’s ever-popular Iolanthe. Added to this, we have some outstanding contributions from the Schola Cantorum and the Senior Choir, plus a dramatic monologue or two.

Please do join us, we’d love to see you there!

The Summer Arts event will be held on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th June. Refreshments will be served.
