Schola Singers celebrated by the Royal School of Church Music

Nine member of the Schola Choirs have been awarded Bronze and Silver Awards by the Royal School of Church Music. Members were presented with their certificates in assembly on Tuesday.

The award is obtained through examination and involves a range of assessment components, including hymn and psalm recital, sight singing, aural exercises and technical questions. To be considered for the award, pupils must also show strong commitment to their choir.

Congratulations go to Olivia Daisley (S1), Eoghan McMurray (S1), Marin O’Connor (S1), Olivia O’Donnell (S3), and Niamh Paddon (S3) who secured Bronze Awards, and Aidan Gallagher (S1), Ryan Duffy (S4), Catherine Fraser (S4), and Madalena Loughlin-Gomes (S4), who achieved silver medals.

We thank these students for their musical contributions to the school.
