squad kit visit St Aloysius' college

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Tom Croft, Performance Director of Squadkit and retired rugby union player, to St Aloysius' College to present climber Daniel Smith (S3) with his £2,500 Squadkit Scholarship for 2018.

Squadkit's partner schools not only enjoy the benefits of high performance sportswear, which enhances the school’s brand and is delivered simply and reliably; but are also able to take advantage of the fantastic benefits of the Squadkit Scholarship Programme.

This year Squadkit has received over 75 applications from some of the brightest and most determined students from a variety of sporting backgrounds. We are excited to announce this year's Scholars team, and are delighted to support them in achieving their sporting goals.

Squadkit works alongside some of the great names in sport including Kate Richardson-Walsh, Hollie Webb, and Tom Croft, who personally award the Scholars to celebrate their achievements and dedication. One of the company's key beliefs is supporting and empowering young athletes regardless of their chosen sport or ability level, through the Squadkit Scholarship and Performance Director programmes Squadkit is able to encourage and inspire the next generation.

Tom Croft attended yesterday morning's ‘Celebrating Success' Assembly where he spoke to our Senior School pupils about making 'Great Things Happen,' before visiting our Sports Hall where he held an informative Q&A session with some of our Rugby pupils.

Tom also commented on the scholarship saying, "The SquadKit scholarship aims to help young athletes, at a time when they need support. Daniel has already achieved a huge amount at such a young age and he has huge aspirations. The scholarship will help make his hopes and dreams a reality."

Well Done Daniel!
