Two members of the St Aloysius’ College First XI Football Team, Alberto Vezza and Josh O’Hare of S5, have been selected to make their debuts for the Scottish Independent Schools U18s against England this Sunday 8 May at Ochilview Park in Stenhousemuir.

Both Aloysian footballers have impressed in their Centre Midfield positions for the College football team this year, helping the First XI achieve some memorable results.

Alberto and Josh played a part in the First XI’s successful cup run to reach the final of the Scottish Independent Schools Cup in 2015 before helping their St Aloysius’ College side win the West of Scotland Independent School’s Football league with 5 wins and 1 draw.

The Aloysians will gain their first Scotland caps this weekend when they represent the College in the Scottish Independent Schools U18 squad in a friendly match against their English counterparts, kicking off at 2pm in Stenhousemuir’s Ochilview Park this Sunday 8 May.
