Glasgow Children’s Charity Visit S5 Pupils

S5 had a special assembly this week whereby Lara MacDonald from the Glasgow Children’s Charity came in to talk to the year group and to thank them for all their fundraising efforts during the course of the year. 

Lara spoke about how the hospital relies entirely on donations and she commended the incredible generosity of our young people. Her moving talk touched many of our pupils so much so that some have decided to take Lara up on various volunteer opportunities. 

A cheque for £2138 was presented to Lara.  A special thanks also from Rosie Piggot to Marie Brennan, John Anderson, Jim Kyle, Ed McKillop and David Swan for supporting this Form Class charity appeal.
