Public Speaking Club attend Glasgow Music Festival

Last weekend, our Junior School Public Speaking Club pupils competed in the Glasgow Music Festival.

The results were:

Prepared Reading 8 years – Elanor McGill and Maisie Freer- 2nd

Prepared Reading 9 years – Lucy Hunter 2nd

Prepared Reading 10 years – Oliver McShane 1st

Prepared Reading 11 years – Elise Keenen 1st and Emma Vella 3rd place 

Bible Reading 8 years – Ava Farrell 3rd place

Bible Reading 11years – Niamh Kelly 2nd place and Kyma Unigwe 3rd place 

Sight Reading 10 years – Oliver McShane 1st place

Sight Reading 11years – Elise Keenen 1st place and Emma Vella 2nd place 

Mrs MacLean, commented on how proud she was of the pupils 'they were clear, articulate, confident, expressive readers who performed beautifully. They proved to be very successful against tough competition and were wonderful ambassadors for the school. I was very proud of them.'
