S4 Silver DofE Expedition

Last Week saw S4 pupils particpating in the Duke of Edinburgh's Silver award, brave the elements and participate in a three day expedition in the Loch Lomond national park.

Due to the weather conditions, routes were changed over the three days and extra sleeping bags and warm clothes were handed out!

The sun finally appeared on the final nights camping which allowed some groups to keep warm by the campfire while tasting marshmallows.

Pupils that persevered in the challenging conditions, certainly earned their expedition part of their silver award by the end of the three days.
