On Remembrance Sunday 2017, Humzah Razzaq (S3) was approached by the National War Museum of Scotland to give an interview to explain why he wore a poppy on Remembrance Day.

His interview was edited to form part of a short film which is now showing in the Poppy Exhibition at the National War Museum, inside Edinburgh Castle. The exhibition also features several colours of poppies along with a poppy headscarf too.

As part of the video clip, his answer was formulated around the talk given by the speaker Mr Jahan Mahmood who was invited to St Aloysius’ in November last year to give a talk on the contribution of the South Asians of varying faiths that formed part of the British Indian Army in both WW1 & 2.
