Senior Chemists Benefit from Wisdom of Professor Liskamp

Senior Chemistry pupils benefited from a recent talk by Professor Rob Liskamp - Chair of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry.

A group of 25 S5 and S6 Chemists listened intently during Professor Liskamp's second visit to the College, during which he spoke about his career, which started in a Jesuit school in Holland, before going on to discuss his research.

He emphasized that Chemists need to work collaboratively with other scientists in order to fight such diseases as cancer, HIV and hepatitis.
