Children’s Fund Christmas Party 2020

Yesterday, we hosted our Children’s Fund Christmas Party in the school hall.

A number of senior school pupils were involved as it was a reunion between our pupils and the young people they were looking after in Lourdes during the summer holiday!

Pupils enjoyed pizza, party games, a Christmas disco and a surprise visit from Santa Claus who came all the way from the North Pole to visit St Aloysius' College and all the good boys and girls!

All year round, we fundraise to pay for a group of pupils and staff to take a group of 13 children with special needs on the Lourdes pilgrimage. This not only an enjoyable and rewarding experience for our young people, but also provides an opportunity for essential respite for families. Their reflections demonstrate an understanding of the difficulties faced by the children and their families, and a realisation of what it really means to be men and women for others.

The Annual Lourdes Fundraising Dinner will take place on Saturday 29th February 2020 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Argyle Street, Glasgow. Tickets are £50.
