Junior Girls' Choir Sing At The Launch of The Worlds First National Public Art Trail

Personal Excellence

A few months ago, the First Minister of Scotland launched the world's first nationwide public art trail: Oor Wullie's BIG Bucket Trail.

The aim was to have ‘Oor Wullie’ sculptures placed around the Scottish cities and boost provisions for the chosen charities, one being the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, who very kindly invited the Junior Girls’ Choir to sing at the Glasgow launch night event which was held in the Glasgow City Chambers.

Mrs Bain, Junior School Music Teacher, commented: "This was a splendid experience for the girls’ who were delighted to sing and sounded heavenly on the night!"

Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail runs for 11 weeks from 17th June 2019 – 30th August 2019, culminating in a series of Farewell Events and nationwide auctions in each of the five host cities, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness. You can find out more about the project here
