Junior Pupils Bring Joy with Christmas Hampers

Junior Pupils Bring Joy with Christmas Hampers

Faith and Values

At St Aloysius’ College, pupils are encouraged to be men and women for others in all that they do and this ethos really shines through at Christmas time when Junior School pupils donate, collect and distribute Christmas Hampers to help give those in need an extra helping of Christmas cheer.

The annual Christmas Hamper Appeal is a well-established tradition at St Aloysius’ College and always receives great support from Junior School pupils and families.

This year the College asked families to donate essential food items and traditional Christmas treats which filled 100 Christmas Hampers and 50 bags of food donations.

The pupils of Primary 7 had the pleasure of helping to deliver the Christmas Hampers to St Aloysius Parish for families in the College’s surrounding communities and Foodbank Donations for Castlemilk Foodbank in the Southside of Glasgow.
