Junior School Pupils Demonstrate Jesuit Values with Backpack Appeal

The boys and girls of the Junior School demonstrated their Jesuit values as men and women for and with others recently, collecting backpacks filled with supplies for Mary's Meals Backpack appeal.

Pupils collected a total of 164 backpacks filled with supplies for some of the world's poorest children and Primary 6 pupils last week visited the Mary's Meals warehouse to personally deliver the collection.

Many children receiving Mary’s Meals don’t have basic learning tools such as pencils and notepads. The backpack appeal will help children get the most out of their lessons by donating a backpack full of the things they need. For many, a Mary's Meals backpack will be the only gift they've ever had.
