Listen Now: Schola Cantorum Sing Live on BBC

The College’s Schola Cantorum enjoyed another landmark performance in St Aloysius Church when they sang live to the nation for BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Worship Show.

The live broadcast brought together the singers of the College's Junior Scholae, Schola Nova and Schola Cantorum and St Aloysius’ College Director of Music, Mr Christie, feels that all the pupils should be very proud of themselves and their performance.

“The pupils have worked very hard to reach the standard expected for a live BBC broadcast and should be very proud of themselves for achieving what is a very significant milestone for Mr. Roberts and the Schola Cantorum project”

“It was a wonderful opportunity for the choristers of the Schola Cantorum to share in a sung mass setting with the choir of St. Aloysius’ parish accompanied by our fantastic new organ and to do it all live on BBC Radio”
