Make a Difference

St Aloysius’ College is pleased to announce that our next Head Master, Matthew Bartlett, has accepted Mr Browne’s invitation to join the College community for an evening of dinner, drinks, dancing and donations at the Aloysian Summer Ball, and that tickets are available now from the College Finance Office.

The Aloysian Association Summer Ball will take place on Saturday 11 June in Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel and will bring together OAs, parents, former parents, staff and friends of the College.

Opening with a drinks reception at 7pm, the Summer Ball will include a four course dinner and a night of live music and dancing, making it the perfect opportunity to socialise with old and new friends alike.

Tickets are priced at £70 per person, and £45 for OAs in full-time education, and can be booked in tables of 8, 10 or 12 at the College Finance Office or by email to Chris Crighton at ccrighton@staloysius.org or phoning 0141 332 3190.

All proceeds from the Summer Ball are donated directly to charitable causes including the College’s three main charities, The Children’s Fund, The Lourdes Fund and the Bursary Fund, which each received £3000 last year from the Aloysian Association.

In keeping with the Pope’s Jubilee Year of Mercy, proceeds will also be donated to the Jesuit Refugee Service’s education campaign for refugee children, ‘Mercy in Motion’, and the St Rollox Community Outreach Project, a partner of the College’s Arrupe Programme.

If you would like to sponsor the Aloysian Association’s Summer Ball and have your business appear in the programme, please contact Fionnuala Barrie at Fionnuala.barrie@lifetech.com.

Donations of prizes for the raffle, tombola and auction would also be hugely appreciated and items can be left at the College reception for the attention of the Aloysian Association.
