P7 Visits Glasgow Film Theatre for Spanish Film Screening

Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed the Modern Foreign Language cinema trip at the Glasgow Film Theatre on Thursday, where they watched “Zip Zap and the marble gang” in Spanish.

The film tells the story of 2 brothers "sent away to a  Spanish summer boarding school run by the dictatorial, eye-patch-wearing Falconetti, who believes that children should be seen and not heard and that fun is an impediment to personal growth. Zip and Zap baulk at such thinking and soon they and their marble gang are causing all manner of mischief, while trying to uncover the deeper secrets of this educational establishment".

One P7 boy commented: "I'm Glad that our school is a lot different or we would also join the gang!"

Thanks to the MFL department for organising the trip, and the GFT for accommodating the children.
