Rugby Success Stories

We are delighted to share some outstanding rugby success stories from the College. 

Our S2 boys recently took home the plate in a recent fixture at Stewart's Melville College. They demonstrated great skill and teamwork en route to the final. 

The sun was shining high at Myreside last Saturday when our U16 7s squad took on George Watson's College. With determination and coordination, we worked hard to keep our lead and eventually took home the cup. Well done team!

 Rugby coach of the U16s teams, Mr. Fitzpatrick, commented: 

"St Aloysius’ U16s played 5 games on their way to lifting the George Watson's College trophy. They defeated George Watson's, Glasgow Academy, and Edinburgh Academy on their way to the final. The only defeat of the day came in a close game with the High School of Glasgow. All 10 boys involved were fantastic in every game and the learning that occurred was very clear as they stayed calm and composed in the final, defeating High School of Dundee in a very competitive game."
