Hours: 12.45pm – 6pm, Monday - Friday

(Term time Only)

The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for a part-time Receptionist at St Aloysius’ College. 

The main purpose of this role is to act as the first point of contact when meeting and greeting visitors to the Reception. You will answer and respond to phone enquiries to the College and develop a sound knowledge of all areas of College life to enable the effective and efficient routing of calls to appropriate departments/persons in a calm and courteous manner.


How you will make an impact

Your contribution to St Aloysius’ College will be varied and you will be responsible for booking taxis, preparing staff badges, maintaining the College’s telephone list whilst acting as the first point of contact for fire drills and evacuations and liaising with pupils, staff at all levels throughout the College.


What you need to succeed

You will be able to demonstrate your excellent customer focus through your previous experience in a similar or related role and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

You will be naturally highly organised in your approach to work but as you will be working alongside young people, you will be able to deal sensitively with issues, and will use your diplomacy and discretion in the event of any safeguarding issues that may arise. 

Ideally, you will have had previous call handling experience and worked in a job share position.
